What a Kitesurf Course Covers
Four stages, each building on the last. The Atlantic beach setting means you train on sand, in shallows, and on open water as your skills grow.
Beach skills and kite control
Launch, land, steer, and use the safety system. Essaouira's kilometre-long beaches give you all the room you need.
Body dragging in the shallows
Kite-powered movement through the water. Steering, self-rescue, and retrieving your board in waist-deep sand-bottom shallows.
Board start on open water
The sandy Atlantic bottom cushions every fall. You repeat the start sequence until standing feels natural, with a short beach walk between attempts.
Upwind riding
Once you ride back to where you started, you no longer need to walk. This is the skill that makes you independent on any spot.
