Private Kitesurf Lesson

1 person

Starting from

€60

Your instructor walks beside you and corrects bar input on the spot because the lagoon is flat and shallow enough to stand everywhere. No swimming back to regroup.

Bluboarding kitesurf instructor briefing two students on the beach during a semi-private kitesurf lesson on the Dakhla lagoon.

Semi-Private Kitesurf Lesson

2-3 persons

Starting from

€40

Each student flies their own kite while your instructor moves between you on the sandbar. The lagoon's shallow depth means corrections happen where you stand, not shouted from shore.

Bluboarding kitesurf instructor briefing a group of four students on the beach before a group kitesurf lesson on the Dakhla lagoon.

Group Kitesurf Lesson

2-4 persons

Starting from

€25

Each pair shares one kite. While your partner flies, you follow the instructor's live coaching from the sandbar. Steady lagoon wind means your turn plays out the same way.

What You Learn in Kitesurf Lessons

Kitesurf progression follows four stages. Most students move through them in order, but your instructor may skip or combine steps depending on where you are.

01

Kite control

Launching, landing, steering, and using the safety systems. You practice on the sand until you can fly the kite precisely where you want it.

02

Body dragging

Moving through the water using only the kite's pull. You learn to steer while swimming, recover your board, and position yourself for a water start.

03

Water start

Board on your feet, edge against the pull, stand up. The flat lagoon makes this stage easier because there are no waves to knock you off balance.

04

Riding upwind

Returning to where you started without walking. This is the skill that makes you independent. Once you have it, you can ride on your own.

Kitesurf Lessons for Every Level

Beginners

Never flown a kite

You have never touched a kite or it has been years since you tried. No fitness requirement. Kitesurfing is technical, not physical. We start from zero.

Intermediate

Water starts and upwind

You can fly the kite and body drag but struggle with board starts. We focus on getting you up, staying up, and riding back to where you started.

Advanced

Jumps, tricks, and freestyle

You ride upwind and want to add tricks. We coach jumps, backrolls, downloops, and transitions. The lagoon's steady wind and flat water give you a clean setup for landing.
